The first two “Take Control” reviews

The first two reviews of our new EP, “Take Control” are in and they are overwhelmingly positive! Special thanks to JamSphere Magazine and Middle Tennessee Music for taking the time and giving us some attention! See quotes and full article links below.

“‘Take Control’ is a vigorous, empowering, never-stopping set of rock tracks that hits you fast and hard. Morrow’s Memory has continued to challenge themselves creatively, without getting too far away from what makes them great. The songwriting is melodic and catchy, but still showcases the aggressive side of the band. ‘Take Control’ will be one of the year’s best.”
– Rick Jamm, JamSphere Magazine

“‘Take Control’ consists of five well-crafted, finely polished, hard rockin’, foot stompin’, head bangin’ worthy songs that will pack a punch right into your sternum sending a flood of chemicals through your adrenal system until you can’t help but to jump off your ass and start playing along with your favorite air instrument of choice.”

We’re currently in the midst of recording our EP with Mat Halliday at Minx Recording Studio (Toledo, OH)! Everything is going very well so far. Keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook accounts to follow along with our progress!

We’ve been pretty quiet on here in the past six or so months, as we’ve undergone some big changes and have been mapping out our next plans of action. At this time, we are very excited to announce that we’ll be heading to Toledo in late October and early November to record a five song EP! We’re happy to be working again with Mat Halliday at Minx Recording Studio and we can’t wait to share our new music with you all!

We’re very excited to announce that after another exhaustive musician search, the Morrow’s Memory lineup is now officially complete! Meet Steve, our new bassist. Steve has been involved in many projects over the years, and what he brings to the table is exactly what we’ve been looking for on all fronts. He’s been working with us for about a month now and we’re currently bringing him up to speed. We’re thrilled to be back in full working order and you should expect some other important announcements in the near future. Stay tuned!

ANNOUNCEMENT: We’re excited to share that after a very exhaustive search and after considering many candidates, we have a new member in Morrow’s Memory! Meet David, our new backing vocalist and rhythm guitarist. He’s been working with us for the past couple of months, and prior to moving to the US, he was involved in a number of rock projects in England. He’s a great all-around musician, with a likable personality, and we’re glad to have him on board!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Please mark your calendars for Saturday, January 17th! We’ll be returning to The Plymouth Roc with our new friends, Cadre! Check them out if you haven’t heard them before. There will be a Facebook event to follow. It’s going to be an awesome night and we hope to see you there!

Morrow’s Memory Opening For Michael Angelo Batio – 11.01.2014

ANNOUNCEMENT: We’re excited to announce that we’ll be opening for national artist and world-renowned guitarist, Michael Angelo Batio! For those of you not familiar, MAB is best known for his mind-blowing speed, technical mastery of the guitar and for his world-famous (left and right handed) double guitars. In 2011, Guitar World named him the “Fastest Guitarist Of All Time” with over 440,000 votes cast. He’s received countless awards and mentions for his abilities. His music is a mixture of rock, metal and neo-classical styles. At this show, he’ll be performing originals as well as his own versions of many popular classic rock songs. And you’ll be sure to witness him play a double-guitar. It’s something not to be missed!

We (Morrow’s Memory) will have a 40 minute set directly before MAB. We’ll also be joined by Imminent Sonic Destruction, The Sean Baker Orchestra and The Mod. It’s sure to be a great show and admission is only $10 at the door! Your support is always appreciated and we hope to see you there!
